Managing Principal Consultant
Lead teams from one to eight people in the planning, testing and remediation of Year 2000 projects for several clients:

Developed assessment reports, project plans, time estimates, cost estimates and contingency plans. The scope of the projects varied from one million to a hundred million lines of code.
Developed several different project structures as well as tracking tools and techniques to address the particular concerns of each client. These concerns included reducing costs, producing litigation-proof documentation, satisfying FDA requirements, meeting all State mandates and controlling "scope creep". In one instance, the project tracking technique provided an early warning that the project, was in danger of not being completed on time; therefore adjustments were made resulting in a successful conclusion.
Interviewed application owners, users and developers. Set up testing labs. Developed detailed test scripts for each application. Oversaw the execution.
Responsible for hiring, training, promotion and retention of employees.
